For businesses in Nigeria
Inventory, POS and online store software built for Nigerian businesses.
StockỌja is made first for businesses in Nigeria: shops where customers pay by transfer as often as cash, where a POS terminal sits on the counter, where a lot of selling starts on WhatsApp and Instagram, and where a growing business soon has a second branch across town.

Payments the way customers pay
In a typical day a shop might take cash from one customer, a transfer from the next and a card on the bank terminal from another, and sometimes all three for one purchase. StockỌja records each payment with its method and an optional reference. At closing, compare cash in the drawer, transfer alerts and terminal slips with what StockỌja says came in by each method.
| How the customer pays | What to choose in StockỌja |
|---|---|
| Cash | Cash, enter the amount received; change is worked out |
| Bank transfer | Transfer, with the sender name or reference if you like |
| Card on your POS terminal | Card, with the slip number if you like |
| Part cash, part transfer | Add two payments to the same sale |
When the network or the light goes off
Congested networks, finished data and the router going off at generator switch-over are part of business here. The StockỌja POS keeps selling through all of it: sales are saved on the device with a receipt, stock goes down on screen, and everything syncs automatically, exactly once, when the connection returns. Expenses, stock adjustments and returns can be recorded offline too.
One habit still matters: for a bank transfer made while you are offline, hand over the goods only after you see the credit alert. Our guide on selling when the internet goes down covers this and more.
From WhatsApp chats to orders
Plenty of selling here starts with a photo on WhatsApp status and a "how much?" in the DMs. That works until the same item is promised to two people, or a transfer screenshot does not match a payment. A StockỌja online store gives those conversations a home: one link that shows what is in stock, takes payment through Paystack or on pickup, and drops the order into your dashboard. Our guide on taking orders online shows how to make the switch without losing the personal touch.
Physical shops and several branches
Most growing businesses still sell mainly from a physical shop, and many add a second or third branch, a warehouse or a stand in another market. In StockỌja each branch has its own stock, staff and sales, products are shared, and stock moves between branches with a transfer that the receiving branch confirms. See retail management and the guide on managing stock across branches.

Questions
Is StockỌja priced in naira?
Yes. Plans are priced and billed in naira, and the free Hustle plan costs nothing. See pricing.
Can I record a sale paid by bank transfer?
Yes. Choose Transfer as the payment method and, if you like, add the reference or the sender’s name so you can match it against your bank alert.
Does the online store accept Nigerian payment methods?
Yes. Online payments go through Paystack, which supports cards and bank transfer. You can also let customers pay when they collect.
Does StockỌja work with my bank’s POS terminal?
StockỌja records the sale; your terminal takes the card. Choose Card at the StockỌja till when the customer pays on the terminal, and add the slip number as the reference if you want.
