Sales tracking

Sales tracking that records itself.

Every sale in StockỌja is recorded at the moment it happens: the items, the price after discounts, how it was paid, who sold it and at which branch. Your dashboard and reports are built from those records, so the numbers are there without anyone adding them up.

At a glance

  • Today at a glance

Today's sales against yesterday, the last 7 days against the week before, and gross profit.

  • Counter and online together

POS sales and online orders in the same figures, and split by channel when you need it.

  • By payment method

How much came in by cash, card and transfer, to reconcile against your till and bank.

  • By branch

Compare branches or look at one. Store-level staff only see their own store.

  • Best sellers and margins

Rank products by sales, units or profit to see what really earns its shelf space.

  • Every receipt on record

Find any sale by receipt number or customer, with its returns and activity.

Why sales tracking goes wrong by hand

Writing sales in a book at the end of the day misses the small ones, mixes up prices and says nothing about profit. A spreadsheet is better but only as good as the last time someone typed into it. Neither tells you which payments to expect in the bank, or which products are actually making money.

When the point of sale records the sale itself, tracking stops being a job. StockỌja captures each sale completely at the counter and online, then lets you look at the same records from different angles.

The dashboard: how the business is doing right now

The dashboard opens with today's sales against yesterday, the last 7 days against the previous 7, gross profit for the week and the number of open online orders. Below that, a sales chart, your top products and anything that needs restocking. It is the five-second answer to “how are we doing?”.

Reports when you need detail

On paid plans, reports let you pick a period and a branch and break sales down further. Long periods group automatically by week or month.

  • Sales: totals, a chart over time, and breakdowns by payment method, by channel (counter or online) and by branch.
  • Products: ranked by revenue, units sold or profit.
  • Inventory: stock on hand and its value.
  • Customers: who buys, how often and how much.
  • Export: download sales, products, inventory, customers and expenses as CSV for your accountant.

Sales, returns and voids that add up

Returns are recorded against the original sale and put the stock back. A voided sale stays on record with the reason and who voided it, rather than disappearing. That keeps your totals honest and gives you an audit trail if numbers ever look wrong.

From sales to profit

Revenue is only half the picture. Because StockỌja knows the cost price of what you sold, it shows gross profit alongside sales. Record your running costs in expense tracking and you can see what is left after rent, salaries and transport. Our guide on how to track business expenses explains how to keep that habit simple.

Questions

Do I have to enter sales manually?

No. Sales from the POS and orders collected from your online store are recorded automatically, with items, payments, staff member and branch.

How is gross profit worked out?

For each item sold, StockỌja subtracts the cost price from the selling price after discounts. Keep cost prices up to date and the figure stays accurate.

Which reports are on the free Hustle plan?

Every plan has the dashboard with today’s and the last 7 days’ sales, gross profit, open online orders and top products. Detailed sales, product, inventory and customer reports with CSV export start on the Scale plan. See pricing.

Can I see sales for one branch only?

Yes. Switch the active store to see one branch, or choose all stores to see the business as a whole.

See today’s sales without adding anything up.

Sell through StockỌja for a week and your dashboard will tell you more than a month of notebooks.
