Online store builder

An online store that sells the stock you already manage.

Give customers a proper place to browse and buy, without running a second system. Your StockỌja online store uses the same products, prices and stock as your shop, so an item sold at the counter is updated online, and an online order shows up next to your counter sales.

At a glance

  • Your brand, ready-made themes

Pick a theme, then add your logo, colours, banner and headline. Preview before you publish.

  • Real stock, per branch

Shoppers choose a pickup branch and see what is available there, including "only 2 left".

  • Checkout that works here

Paystack for card and bank transfer, or pay on pickup with cash or card.

  • Orders in one queue

Confirm, mark ready and hand over with a pickup code. Customers get updates by email.

  • Stock held automatically

An order reserves its items, so two customers cannot buy the last one.

  • Paid straight to your bank

Paystack splits each online payment: your share goes into your bank account, the platform fee to StockỌja.

  • A poster with your QR code

Print it for the shop window or share it on WhatsApp. Customers scan it to shop from your store.

Why a connected online store matters

Most small businesses that start selling online end up with two sets of records: the shop and the website, or the shop and a WhatsApp catalogue. Someone has to keep prices and stock in step by hand, and when they drift, customers order things that are not there.

A StockỌja store is not a separate website. It is another way to sell from the same inventory. Change a price once and it changes everywhere. Sell the last unit at the counter and the store shows it as sold out.

Setting up your store

The Online store page in StockỌja starts with a short launch checklist, so you always know what is left before customers can order.

  1. 1

    Choose your store address

The link customers use, yourname.stockoja.com. You set it once.

  2. 2

    Add your bank account

Online sales are paid straight into it through Paystack.

  3. 3

    Put products online

Mark the products customers can order. Products, variants, photos and prices come from what you already manage.

  4. 4

    Brand it and publish

Choose a theme, add your logo, colours, banner and headline, preview, then publish. You can keep editing afterwards and publish changes when ready.

When you publish for the first time, StockỌja hands you a shop poster with your store’s QR code: download it as an image or an A4 PDF, print it for the counter or window, or share it straight to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.

From order to pickup

When a customer places an order, the stock is held and the order appears in your Orders queue as waiting. You confirm it, prepare it and mark it ready for pickup, and the customer is notified by email. When they arrive, check their pickup code and hand the order over. The sale and the stock movement are then complete, and the order counts towards your sales figures.

If an order the customer already paid for online is cancelled, the customer is refunded automatically through Paystack. If a refund does not go through first time, StockỌja keeps retrying and tells you if it still needs you, so a refund is never lost or sent twice.

Getting paid

Each online payment is split by Paystack at checkout: your share is paid into your bank account, and StockỌja’s platform fee, set by your plan, is taken from that payment. Paystack’s own processing fee is separate. The Payouts page shows the money flow for the last 30 days: sales, minus the platform fee, minus Paystack’s fees, equals what was paid to your bank.

Orders paid on pickup are paid to you in person, cash or card, and carry no platform fee.

Built for how people actually buy

A lot of buying starts in a chat: a photo on WhatsApp status, a question in a DM. A store link turns that conversation into an order with the price, the item and the payment already sorted, instead of a thread of messages and a screenshot of a transfer. Our guide on taking orders online walks through the switch, and how to create an online store in Nigeria covers the practical setup.

What the online store does not do (yet)

We would rather be clear. Orders are for pickup from your branches; StockỌja does not arrange delivery. Stores live on a stockoja.com address; connecting your own domain is not available yet.

Questions

Do I need a website developer?

No. Choose a theme, add your logo, colours, banner and headline, and publish. Your products, prices and stock come from what you already manage in StockỌja.

What address does my store get?

Your store is published at yourname.stockoja.com, using the store name you choose. You can share that link on WhatsApp, Instagram or anywhere else.

How do customers pay?

Online payment with card or bank transfer through Paystack is built in. You can also let customers pay when they collect, with cash or card, and switch that option on or off in your settings. Orders paid online carry a platform fee that depends on your plan (see pricing); pay-on-pickup orders do not.

Do you handle delivery?

Orders are currently for pickup: the customer chooses one of your branches, and you confirm the order, mark it ready and hand it over with a pickup code. If you deliver yourself, you can arrange it with the customer after the order comes in.

What stops me selling something I no longer have?

The store shows stock for the branch the customer picks, and an order holds the stock until it is collected or cancelled. When an item sells out at the counter, the store shows it as out of stock.
